The Grad Lab and COVID-19

THE GRAD LAB IS CURRENTLY OPEN AND OPERATING AS NORMAL UNTIL 5pm March 20 2020. 

  • The Grad Lab will close at 5pm on Friday March 20th 2020.
  • Until then the Grad Lab will continue to operate on its normal schedule.
  • All Grad Lab Checkout Equipment MUST be returned to the Lab BEFORE 5pm on Friday 3-20-2020.
  • All reservations that extend past 5pm on Friday 3-20-2020 will be cancelled.
  • All Grad Lab policies and procedures will remain in effect. Any equipment not returned to the Lab before 5pm on Friday March 20, 2020 will be charged in full to the student account.

Due to the evolving and unprecedented nature of events, the Grad Lab will be treating the Friday March 20th 2020 closure in the same way that we would treat the end of a semester.
This means that:

  • All Grad Lab Computers will have their contents erase
  • All graduating students will need to backup or remove all files from the Grad Lab Drobo
  • All Checkout Equipment is due back before 5pm on March 20th 2020
  • All outstanding fines will be turned over to Student Accounts

 
Make sure:

  • Any and all personal files will need to be removed from Lab computers before 5pm 3-20-20.
  • Any and all personal files will need to be removed from the Grad Lab Drobo before 5pm 3-20-20.
  •  All Grad Lab policies and procedures will remain in effect. All fines must be paid before 5pm on Friday March,20th 2020.

 
All returning students Drobo accounts will remain active and unaltered but students should be aware that they will not be able to access their files until the Lab reopens.
