    Michael Bierut is one of the leading voices in
    the design profession. A brilliant practitioner
    and a witty, insightful commentator, he is known
    for his typography, branding, signage, and
    publication design, as well as for his role as
    founding editor of the blog Design Observer.
    Considered by many to be the world’s funniest
    graphic designer, he is a frequent voice on
    National Public Radio and made an unforgettable
    appearance in Gary Hustwit’s film Helvetica.
    He is a partner in the New York office of Pentagram
    and author of Seventy-nine Short Essays
    on Design
    (Princeton Architectural Press).
